Avoid spyware to run on your computer

Spyware programs can be avoided to run on your computer.
Just follow these few tips.

1. Clear files and cookies regularly. ( Preferably each time when you close your browser(internet explorer or mozilla firefox)).
Internet Explorer
Tools-> Internet options->delete->delete all.
Mozilla Firefox.
Tools->Clear private data.

2. Avoid clicking on any advertisements or banners.
Instead make a note of the url or search using google.

3. Avoid Porn sites.

4. "Your computer is infected". "Scan your computer for free".


Please do not click on these advertisements. They will not remove any spyware from your computer.



5. Do not install software programs( like toolbars or any unknown programs), most likely these programs are found to contain spyware.

6. Update your operating system( Microsoft Windows or linux) regularly.
Update contains security fixes and patches which stops spywares on your computer.

7. Ensure that firewall is turned on
(control panel-> windows firewall-> turn on-> ok).

8. Scan your computer regularly using antipyware software
